Authority Rainmaker Conference- We Know What’s Up!

authorityrainmakerIt sounds like such a grown up thing to do— go to a conference and talk to other people who do what you do and learn from incredible people  like Daniel Pink and Sally Hogshead.

And cheer wildly when a punk rock star takes the stage.

Yes, that last part actually happened at the Authority Rainmaker Conference in Denver. But really, the best part was meeting some folks we’ve been stalking following online for long time IN REAL LIFE. We got to hang out with some of our heroes – Chris Brogan and Brian Gardner– and we had the opportunity to meet some new faces like Phil Hollows (the CEO of Feedblitz) and Raul and Georgia and Deb— awesome people from all over the globe who love and believe in Content Marketing as much as we do.

“What’s Content Marketing?” you say.

Well, let me tell you. Content marketing is the stuff you produce online to delight and amaze your customers. It’s the blog posts, email newsletters, and social media posts you publish. It’s the podcasts you create and the copy (you know – words) that are on your website. It’s your voice. It’s the stuff that tells your audience who you are as a person or as a company.

These people we met are some of the coolest and brightest people in the digital marketing industry and they believe in the power of content just like we do. That was affirming for us because… you know… we’re just two mamas from a small town in Montana. But guess what? We are really good at what we do. We know what’s up, and that was really cool to hear from these folks we respect.

Here’s our look book from our good times in Denver.
