Center For Native Plants

The Center for Native Plants is Flathead Valley’s only retail native plant nursery.

It boasts over over 120 different species of wildflowers, grasses, shrubs, and trees—that are native to Montana and the intermountain northwest region.

They are the experts in helping you select the right native plants for your property and landscape needs.

Their new site is a very stylish with beautiful scenic images from Joel Mensen Photography that capture the story of the nursery as well as the diversity of the native plant offerings.  The vibrant logo and branding was provided by the talented duo – George & Elma Graphic Design Studio.

Every Seed Has A Story

We kept the key content on the front page of the website as a nice scrollable feature for mobile device users. The visuals capture the beauty of the native plants which makes it easy to see their product offerings. The  GO NATIVE section quickly teaches the benefits of planting with native plants as well as a great video feature where co-owner Andrew Beltz explains the role of CNP and its transformation from a small nursery to a true center for native landscaping in the Flathead Valley.

 “We really do want become a center, where it’s not just coming in and buying a plant and walking away,” said Beltz. “We want to educate people.”

The product offerings link to separate pages with a more detailed list of plant offerings followed by a easy to use Call to Action Contact Us button and phone number.  We also integrated the Google Map feature on the Location section so users can find directions to the nursery without leaving the website.

This new site will be evolving as the company continues to expand with more gallery images, blog posts, gardening resources, nursery events and more online features.
