Some of my favorite website designs are the ones that are the most simple. I really enjoyed working with Dru Rafkin on her new WordPress website because her process was thoughtful, intentional and fun.

I’d been talking with Dru about a new website for over a year. We came up with a lot of ideas – some that worked, some that didn’t. But in the end, I believe we created her website that also captured Dru’s personality and professionalism.

Dru wanted a minimal site design so we pared down the excess content that seem to bloat a lot of websites lately and we focused on strong copy and frequent call to actions.   I also created a very simple text logo that pairs well with this design.

Most of Dru’s business comes from referrals, so the goal for her new site was to immediately identify her audience’s problem and provide them with a solution. Simple.
