Frequently Asked Questions

With all the noise and distractions on the internet, I want to help others build a brand around their own ideas.

I’ve been  building beautiful websites for over five years now, blogging for various companies over ten and sending out newsletters when print was the only option.

Some common FAQs from my work:

Why do I need a website?

I’m a firm believers that most everyone needs a website.

Why?

No matter what business you’re in, a professional and well designed website is a great place to showcase your work and differentiate your business from your competitors.

Think you’re just a stay at home Mom with nothing to offer? Check out Mamalode.  An online parenting community that helps moms share their stories and be a part of  a bigger community. They found their voice and a have become a leader in the online media world.

Are you an artist that doesn’t have time to be online? Check out Shawna Moore, an encaustic painter who leverages her website and email strategy to showcase her work, partner with galleries, engage with interior designers and book art retreats in exotic locations.

Do you have an established brick and mortar business or run a non-profit? Check out the North Valley Food Bank or Whitefish Education Foundation and see how their content connects with clients, volunteers and donors.

So how do you get the audience to find you?

A  great looking and professional website is a great start.  But you also need to have a content strategy and a healthy e-mail campaign to direct your audience back to your awesome website.

What is an Online Design Project?

I can help integrate online tools with your story:

Website + Social Media + E-Mail Marketing + Your Business

I Don’t Know Where To Start?

Online Marketing can be a pretty daunting experiencing when trying to figure it out on your own. Luckily, the internet does the heavy lifting for you.

I’ll do my best to simplify the process and make it work for you and your business.

How Much?

When you think about your project, you need to think of this as an investment in your business, not as a miscellaneous office expense. This shift in language is what sets your intention in your business and unlocks the value you offer your audience.

Our online projects typically start in the $3,500+  range for basic web, social and newsletter set-up.  Every project is dependent on the unique needs of the client.

How Long?

This answer depends entirely on the overall project itself, the complexity of the website, the content needed, the response time of the client and other factors.  It’s been our experience that each project is different.

I’ll do my best to accommodate to your needs and to be flexible to your busy schedule.

Open and honest communication works best for both parties.

I’m confused about Hosting?

Hosting is simply a business that provides storage space for your website and makes it accessible on the world wide web.  I can assist you in setting up your hosting account with one of our preferred providers but I am not a hosting company.  There is a separate fee for hosting services depending on your project needs.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is the attempt to improve website visibility for the search engines.

I believe in creating content and providing value for actual users and not search engines.

What is the most used SEO tactic used for better ranking?

It is creating written content. I help you create content that serves your audience.  Online marketing is the life blood of your business and your online story has to be effective with clear communication.

Google reports more searches are now done on mobile devices than on desktops.  It’s time to connect the dots between your customer and the digital world.
