I always smile when I hear some folks say how the digital world is turning out a bunch of self-centered, self absorbed, egotistical maniacs.

“Sheeesh, kids these days with their Facebook, Snapchat and Tumblr.” 

You don’t have to scan too far on some  social media sites or watch 30 seconds of any reality TV  to think that maybe those nay-sayers are right, maybe this narcissistic digital culture has run amok.

But from my perspective, the digital landscape has also opened up a new frontier of stories.  Real life adventures filled with selfless feats of heroism, acts of valor and strength of spirit that makes my heart soar with joy.

It also doesn’t take too much effort to find stories that uplift, inspire and rejoice at the many colorful and creative endeavors of our fellow man. [I believe Mr. Steinbeck would be overflowing with plot ideas if he were alive today…]

Part of our work for one of our clients (and great friends) is iComfortVillage, where we get to scour the world wide web and share stories that comfort.  Their Comfort Impact Statement reads:

There are a lot of AMAZING  and INSPIRATIONAL stories out there in the world.

There always have been.
