First Presbyterian Church - Whitefish

First Presbyterian Church: The Church on the corner of downtown Whitefish since 1921

RE: Faith - Taking this opportunity to create new ways of connecting to community

A few months ago I worked with an amazing group of women who wanted to update the First Presbyterian Church website in order to better reflect the dynamic people and events that the church represented. We talked about ways to integrate podcasts, Vimeo, social media, online donations, newsletters and adding e-commerce for their annual flower sales.

Who knew that these simple digital tools would be such a lifeline to stay connected to their members during a time where social distancing and isolation are community requirements to stay safe.

First Presbyterian Church can now still provide a safe and spiritual home to its members by connecting online.

Pastor Tim writes the following in this month's newsletter:

The body of Christ is not defined by where we gather but by whom we worship. Whether we are together or in our separate homes, the Holy Spirit draws us together through the Word of God binding us into one. As one body of Christ we hear the Word. As one body of Christ we pray. As one body of Christ we care.
